Steve Rochlin is CEO of Impact ROI, formed as the new banner to continue the work of IO Sustainability, the firm he co-founded in 2013. Steve has over 20 years of experience in sustainability and corporate responsibility, advising leading companies across a wide variety of industry sectors, as well as associations, NGOs, multilateral organizations and government agencies, on how to improve sustainability performance in a way that drives competitive success. Steve is the lead author of the Project ROI research series, acclaimed by Forbes and Inc. among others as the leading business case research in the field, which includes Defining the Competitive and Financial Advantages of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability and The Business ROI of Social Investments. He has been a senior executive at three leading ESG organizations: for AccountAbility he served as Director of Global Advisory Services and a member of the Board of Directors, and for the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship as Director of Research and Development. Steve is co-author of Beyond Good Company: Next Generation Corporate Citizenship and Untapped: Creating Value in Underserved Markets. He obtained his MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and his A.B. from Brown University.
