Bhushan Joshi is Head of Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility for Ericsson in Market Area North America. Bhushan is focused on understanding key sustainability challenges faced by telecom operators and leveraging Ericsson solutions to help operators achieve their sustainability goals. Bhushan advocates for the role of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in helping other industries take exponential climate action, and works closely with operators on the energy performance of networks, on emissions reporting across the value chain, and on the circularity of hardware through reuse and take-back programmes. He brings fifteen years of experience in energy management and corporate sustainability, spanning business development, renewable energy projects, project oversight and sustainability strategy. He is a frequent contributor to industry publications and a participant in standards and alliance work on sustainability indicators for next- generation radio network technologies. Bhushan holds an MBA in Sustainable Business Practices from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
